Oh yes, you might've had a great time making fun of the 'thermocol float party' taht happened recently at home, office lunch, cooler gossips, in those  'after meeting' talks! The author agrees with all of you. When the author saw this in news for the first time, it was as stupid as it can sound.

Who would do this?!?! Why do yo do this ?!?!

Then starts the same old blame tale telling on DMK, ADMK, DK parties for not making it the number 1 state in India when Tamil Nadu will easily be in top 5 in terms of tourism, development, literacy and such criteria! Seriously!

'These two parties should be 'eradicated' (such old verb know) for the betterment of Tamil Nadu!

 This issue might also have been a conversation starter on your 'office crush'! Yeah! Duh... This is a funny content, .....it's easy to laugh it off on the ignorance of the people who rule us, ............'funny' is very important when dealing with your crush. A research was conducted IIT Rourkee in December 2015. This was conducted on 'Use of thermocol sheet as floating cover to reduce evaporation loss in farm pond' 

Yeah, the research paper's title is this! This was conducted in Devargoan, Maharastra (no wonder this idea came from this state) lol ! 😋😀😀 This is a small village with max temperature as 36 C and minimum temperature as 27 C which is more or less the same in Madurai where Sellur Raju, MLA did this 'thermocol party' with few IAS officers and PWD engineers.

Previously a research was conducted by the Urban Water Security Research Alliance in Australia for using evaporation-reducing cover products available. The picture is as below:

As these techniques cannot be followed by our poor farmers, a method of broken thermocol was proposed and was checked by the team. It was also stated in the research paper, 

"It is seen clearly that 75% of area is covered and 25 % area is left purposefully to allow the entry of air in the water to maintain the oxygen content of water necessary for survival of aquatic life"

The team also inferred and submitted a detailed conclusion which also includes the below write -up inclusion:

"Using this technique average 32 % of water can be saved and utilized for irrigation of crop during water scarcity period. It is revealed that even after thunder storm broken thermocol is useful for controlling evaporation loss. It is necessary to carry this project ahead with cost effective material which is durable even in rain storms. It is noticed that thermocol sheets are drifted by wind on side after thunder storm."

Though this has completely turned out to be a joke with all thermocol being washed away to the shore of the reservoir, this has already happened in the above research done by IIT Rourkee. We cannot and should not cover a water body completely from sunlight as this would take a huge toll on the ecosystem that's operating there! But it is common sense not to pollute the reservoir banks with these thermocol!!

So is this attempt completely stupid and wrong??!!.. Imagine what the Engineers and IAS offices would have thought ?!?....

Would we  have ridiculed if a big 'pooja' or 'yaagha' was conducted for us to have rain?

Why 90's kids aren't Rajini's hard core fans naturally! (some are actually faking it)

When did you actually start watching movies? I mean when can you understand the quality behind a film? Ok, even toddlers watch films, crouching on the floor, looking up the screen with their mouth open! Can they understand the story, characterization in the film? Can they appreciate the camera handling, the climax, the message?

This understanding and judging capability will come (in their own taste) when they are reach their teens, when they are atleast 13! That's when you develop your own liking. That's when you choose you 'hero', when you start going crazy unknowingly for all their fake fights, dialogues! You sing their songs in while in shower and start imitating him! You think all the dialogues, fight stunts, songs are sung by himself!! (cha, enna idiocracy la!.. adha vida. after 7 donkey ages still 'thalaiva' 'salaiva' nu sollit irkome) 😝😝😜

So coming to Rajinikanth, when did he really peak? When did he earn all those 'craze' their fans actually claim he posses? Is it Billa? or Basha? Every single Tamil cinema follower will unanimously agree on 'Padayappa'.

It's not Basha which is a common myth that Basha is bigger than Padayappa. Padayappa earned more and made him a cult than the former. There were stationery goods, t-shirts and other materials sold in after this name!

For Rajinikanth year 1995 which he did Basha was a busy year with Muthu being released in the following year of 1995. Where else Padayappa which came in 1999 and the following three years where like a hibernation for him. Only baba came in 2003 after that. This was relased in a very big diaz with stamp heads and other massive marketing were done to make the film a big hit. We all knew how Baba ended. Lets not discuss that here. ( no, I told-- the victory and hit status of Baba can be discussed elaborately in another article)

Yes, did you see the years above ? 1995 and 1999! Leave out the late 90's kids who are born after 1996. When Basha was released the 90's kids are mere LKG guys wearing tiny tiny shorts and shirts and going to school. Most Cinema writers, critics doubt them having watched the popular old flick of him!! So you grow up and after approx 10-12 years you become Rajinikanth fan?!?! How cool and practical is that! Ok, if you aren't interested, just assume they are those satellite, radio, itunes, music channel permissions to be given for them to use. Rahman for most of his films gets this copyrights for himself before starting with the composing. 

So Rahman follows a pukka professional approach and contract for his works. He once said in an interview, using songs he composed in concerts or other performance gets difficult when the rights are owned by someone else. It's a professional move na, getting your rights clarified before the composing starts!

 They usually don't get the copy rights from the recording labels. This is because of ignorance or 'it doesn't matter' attitude! This is why we see famous music directors and singers do not sing their most famous songs on stage in a concert these days! We as muggles or 'no majs' blame them for not singing them. We doubt whether that song is famous or not!! lol !! I've been there! 😅😅

Now after talking to few friends about the game, scolding Rafinha to the fullest. Why is a left footed player played in this position !??!?! He isn't putting crosses or playing up or taking the ball. He's practising with Masche!

What ?!?! Neymar fouled badly in PSG box! Now refree refuses a penalty. Munier stumbles and falls onto Neymar. Now the second refree gives a penalty?!!??! ohhhhhhhhhhhh! Super penalty for Barca!

Not sure what's happening now, too much of space is seen and Barca seems to have less of the intensity when compared to the first half.

DiMaria comes in, escapes the tackle of PK and gives to Cavani but mispossessed by him. Messi gets the ball now and tries to paly 5 defenders surrounded by him. Misses possession, got by Rakitic. Umtiti gets the ball calmly deals the ball. Woah! what a player he is. Messi gets the ball and pushes it to Iniesta, slips and falls. This might have been a chance.

DiMaria pushes the ball inside Barca box, headed by PK. Goes to Matuidi and shoots. Umtiti defends well by kicking out the ball to avoid a cross happening.

Ohhhhhhhhhh! Corner taken by Matuidi, ball headed here and there. Ball goes out closely out of the bar. Oh this, heart skips a beat now.

Neymar looses the ball after playing, taken and passed by Di Maria. Now PK defends well and kicks it fast to MATS. Rakitic gets a yellow card for fouling on Draxler by pulling his shirt. Should have been avoided.

After an abysmal display of Barca at 'Parc des Princes' it was a whole speculation from Cules to give a come back. I was devastated that week Arsenal lost to Bayern as 5-1.

Barca goes with a 3-4-3 formation. It's an attacking formation usually not preferred by Enrique. He's giving it all as he has announced he'll be going away from Barca. It was considered impossible to fly bfeore when the Wright brothers demonstrated flying. We've all read how every pioneers of aviation were ridiculed in their trial. We see all future technologies in sci-fi cinemas and think they're all impossibilities. We thought VCR was the peak or the epitome of home entertainment and never though CDs would come. When we saw 'Space jam' and 'Speed' in a set of 4 or 3 CDs, did we imagine we would have Hard drives that can hold TBs of data ?!

A common comparison of 'the light' and 'the dark' is one we always do. We relate the dark to the Satin or the evil and light to God. We relate darkness to depression or anxiety every time and take light for a victory or whatever good that is. The thing which I'm trying to say is, we think what we 'see' is the eternal truth or what there exists in space. We think what we 'see' or 'experience' is what that exists! Is it really true ?

Simply put, a simple surgery or electrification in certain parts of your brain can totally remove your ability to 'taste'. So you put a grape fruit in your mouth it might actually feel like a tasteless 'egg white' (coz egg whites don't really have a taste)! So, will you say that what you had put in your mouth is not a grape fruit ?

Lets take the simple example of cinema which we all like. We don't understand the feeling of 'you' is actually not 'you'. Yeah, now people say, "yes I'm not my heart, I'm my brain. The heart only pumps blood daaww" Fine you've passed the primary schooling in understanding 'the you'! Kudos!

So is your 'brain' that defines who you are or it is 'the you'? Are you actually your brain ? So whatever your brain sees or perceives is what actually is existing ? ''NO"!

So you must be wondering why did I bring the 'darkness' and 'light' argument in the beginning. A recent study shows that frogs are able to see colours clearly in pitch dark.

They have the ability to see colour even when it is so dark that humans are not able to see anything at all. This has been shown in a new study by researchers from Lund University in Sweden.

Is darkness really evil if you were able to see colours in it? Are we really as great as how we think we are? What if we were able to see colours in dark, would we still brand 'dark' as evil where nothing exists? Is black hole really made out of singularity as we claim? (therleyema!) We know light is the fastest thing in this universe and our brain is works through chemical reaction, so there's a lag between what's happening and the moment when your brain understand it, right ??

Why is relativity still a controversy among physicists if we know the above thing ?

I don't this is just another 'brain' of mine typing this! Also I've got one of the dumbest brains! So what can we do about this? Now you know what you know might not be the truth after all. Why 'Sarattu Vandiyila' is a milestone in AR's career

The track 'Sarattu Vandiyila' in the new upcoming film 'Kaatru Veliyidai' was released on 28-Feb. Most AR fans would have guessed the genre of the number seeing the word 'vandiyila' that it would be a Tamil folk. Ardent Rahman fans would love to receipt folk songs from him. Because AR being a Sufi enthusiast would apply some of that template (not style or tune) for folk songs. Eg: 'Vandi maadu' in 'Kizhaku Seemaiyile' which is a holy relic for Rahmaniacs.

Coming to the track, many would wonder how this would be a milestone for AR's music jouney. Read below calm I request you all. Previously we listened to the other 2 tracks released in this film.
The track 'Azhagiye' is a deja vu of 'Mental Manadhil' with respect to minimal the hard work he puts for the pilot releases of songs from the film 'Mariyan'. I would rather comment on 'Vaan Varuvan' here as I would want another entire article to explore. It is a shear marketing technique, he would put minimum work in composing tunes like this. This actually works in his way, because we all know Rahman's tracks take atleast 2 weeks to get listed in top 5 tracks of that particular month. So, to get the instant popularity this would work right! He also gets to work less.

We see the 'trend' of releasing a pilot song of film generally. Hardcore Rahman fans would not prefer this as they connect listening to a Rahman's film songs in a set to a completely different experience. We get a platter of songs which we would 'hate completely'. And then realize that the song we hated the most be always in our music player for that month ! Ok, enough with discussing Rahman's "keka keka pidikum' thingy as it's discussed by netizens a million times.

I had listened and currently listening to 'Sarattu Vandiyila' now when I'm penning this article (21:10 hrs). I'm doing this to assist my writing. So I believe I get the LLR to comment of this song before hardcore fans go 'Nee thirupi thirupi ketiya daaw' 'You don't talk about AR unless you listen to it atleast 25 times daaw' 'First time keta apdi dhaan daaw' ! :D :D

So what's wrong mister ?

There is high chance of a millenial reading this but bear with me. Do you remember listening to 'Athiradikaaran' in 'Sivaji' movie. Yeah! Whaaaat in the world is this ?!?! Yaaak! :( AR you suck and all those chants ! And after a week we went nuts over that song ! Aaaanja, Maanja, Saanja ... We all were whispering for a month ! Coming to the song 'Sarattu Vandiyila' we were reminded about a number of songs when listening to the first time. I was personally got reminded of the below tracks,

- Aayiram thaamarai mottugale in 'Alaigal Oivadhillai'
- Chandiranai thottadhu yaar in 'Ratchgan'
- Dhavani pota deepavali in 'Sandakozhi'
- Aalangatti malai in 'Thenali'

We all know which musician has this style and we also troll that guy for using Church songs in his films! Halla Halla Haleena, Whaaaack ! Sup Haris Jayaraj, Sup ! :D :D :D

Sorry Rahman we do not get reminded of other songs when listening to your numbers for the first time. We just listen to it for the first time and list you below 'Dheva', cha Rahman sothappal da. Yuk daaw!

One could easily guess that this track is the 'wedding song' of this Maniratnam's flick like 'yaaro yaarodi' in 'Alaipayuthey'. We see the songs describes the legendary 'first night' in Tamil Cinema which goes in discretion after when the bride gives the groom milk. I mean, the milk 'sombu' ! :D :D

Seriously ?!!? How much of a legendary song that 'Yaaro Yaarodi' was! The cute shrill voice of Vaishali and Richa Sharma was a block buster hit in Tamil Nadu! The 'Bass' maintained drum which comes immediately after when the songs starts! The line where the singer free styles 'kannaala kanaala poongodiku' still give us eargasm! And I'm sure hard core rahman fans would smile when the Vaishali pronounces 'yaaro yaarodi' as 'iiiyyaaro iiiiyyordi' and makes it all cute & I don't know ..whatever !

Ok, let me put you in bad mood by comparing another awesome wedding song: 'Avalukenna ambasamuthiram' in 'Chillunu Oru Kadhal'! Ok the next one is heavy: 'Jiya Jale' in 'Dil se'  You see! The song seems to wind around the same tune of the starting first line 'Sarattu Vadiyla sirattoliyila oram un mugam' and there's this usual beats behind them to make it sound folk ! Dude, where is the tune which we used to hate in the first hearing ?!?!?! We really get into the song so much that we like it in the first hearing and this every hardcore Rahman fan would hate...... ironically!... Linga, Highway, Kochadaiyan, I, 24, Mohen Jodaro, OK Kanmani are all 'to forget' category of yours which is a new category opened in you name !

Any 90's or late 80's aren't happy with this 'unstructured' song trend which was followed by Rahman  from 'Delhi-6' or 'VTV'. I remember Rahman talking about this style in a radio interview when I had just passed 12th about this style! It's evident we miss that Rahman with a ridiculous hairstyle making him look like a mongloid idiot ! (It's a joke ok!), that Rahman who doesn't show off his mansion in Los Angles and his 'Aston Martin' in facebook page! Why Rahman, Why ?!!!  Already the 90's are confronting their adult life in an abysmal way. I see many people nodding to that now !

This song makes us put Rahman in the 'yet another' musician category owing to your recent trend and the movies listed above! We are 90's bro, we are all nostalgic idiots!

'Mental Manadhil' was given a huge hype when lyrics was penned by Rahman himself. We see a lot of Rahman fans requesting him to go back to his music style which once he had stuck to. We have seen musicians like OP Nayyar, SD Burman or Kandasala in South India becoming legends and still their tracks being the benchmarks! I remember reading OP Nayyar cut Aasha Bhosle from giving chances when she came late for a recording! OP Nayyar's arrogance and insistence on a high remuneration did not make him obsolete or to be deserted. It is those gritty qualities that 'make' an artist. We have seen Rahman sudden craze for concerts around the world, we've seen him teaming up with Mick Jagger, Majid Majidi, we've seen him doing production in cinema, we've seen him opening up porche recording studios in UK and US, we've seen him doing less popular Hollywood flicks!

Coming back to our 'song': Isn't there any sort of a tiny positive thingy ?!??! Oh yes, there is. His voice when heard for the first time in this track after a long time, .............A LONG TIME... yeah.. really gave us a slight jolt !

Tipu it is! I mean where did this guy come from ? lol !! (remember 'telephone manipol' in Indian) yeaaah.. i Knowwww!!...

Come back Rahman, please grow that ridiculous hair and become shy! You are one among the very few things which exist in 90's kids life !
